JOSUE VELNEY / FOUNDER AND CEO
Josué Velney is a Somerville, Massachusetts-based licensed Real Estate Broker and the Broker/Owner of Velney Realty, bringing a unique combination of local knowledge, construction expertise, and real estate investment experience to every client he serves. His real estate journey began in 2010 as a first-time homebuyer. What started as the purchase of his first home in Somerville grew into a passion for real estate investing, development, and helping others build wealth through property ownership. Today, Josué owns multiple rental properties and helps buyers, sellers, and investors make informed real estate decisions backed by firsthand experience.
As a property owner and investor in Somerville and Boston, Josué offers clients invaluable insight into local neighborhoods, market trends, and hidden opportunities. Josué earned a degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and holds a NAIOP Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Development. He is also a Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License (CSL) holder and a Phius Certified Builder (CPHB), reflecting his expertise in construction, building codes, and high-performance, energy-efficient building practices.
Deeply rooted in the Somerville community, Josué proudly served 12 years as a Fire Lieutenant with the Somerville Fire Department, following five years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. His commitment to service, integrity, and leadership continues today through Velney Realty, where he is dedicated to helping clients confidently buy, sell, invest in, and develop real estate throughout Somerville, Greater Boston, and the surrounding communities.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she excels in problem-solving and time management, ensuring the seamless execution of executive responsibilities.
Currently serving as Velney’s Executive Assistant, she is committed to fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service, contributing to the organization’s overall success.
